Restored to "like new" performance
15-year old John Deere L120 with K46 transmission started to lack torque, first in reverse and then also in forward. There seemed to be only minor wear on the pump and motor parts, and an oil change restored some torque while the transmission was cool but faded when the transmission got hot. I then installed the K46 repair kit with the aid of some excellent Youtube help films. The transmission now performs as new. I had forgotten over the years how much torque it develops in original condition. This kit is very complete and well worth the money if the transmission gears are still in good shape. Installation is straight-forward for a moderately handy person.
